The Hieva Festival on the islands of French Polynesia last from late June to early August of each year, and is filled with athletic and cultural events. Our second night on Bora Bora found us on the island's outdoor festival grounds where hundreds of singers and dancers were preparing for that evening's competition. These two young ladies in their stunning costumes were part of a large singing troop. It was getting close to show time, and during the frenzy that always happens just before entertainers take to the stage, there were last minute adjustments that needed to be made.
